Dr Sumbo Ndi

Sumbo Ndi has a PHD in microbiology, currently is a Family and Relationships counsellor, and Team Leader of Counselling Services North at Relationships Australia, South Australia. She leads the family and relationships counselling, gambling help service, program for children of separated parents, a domestic violence prevention program for young people and co-facilities a behaviour change program for men who perpetrate violence. She contributed to the GoodLife project that used a community development approach in engaging African communities in talking about FDV and engaged men as part of the solution. Her work covers issues considered as taboo such domestic violence, stigma, intergenerational conflict and bloodborne viruses.
